Obituary of James McRae
James Gordon McRae, beloved husband of Margaret McRae, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the age of 72 years.
Jimmie joined Imperial Oil in 1952 where he spent his entire working career until his retirement in 1990. He joined Inglewood Golf and Curling Club in 1975 and was an avid golfer and curler.
Jimmie is lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret; daughter Carol (Rick Brash) and son Greg; brothers Doug (Betty) and family of Vancouver, Don and family of Calgary; cousin Robert (Gunner), Wynn Carlson and family of Calgary and the extended Richards family of Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents Ken and Annie (Tiny) McRae and his sister Bette Ferguson of Edmonton.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Thanks to Dr. Easaw and staff at the Tom Baker Centre and special thanks to the staff of Agape Hospice for their loving care.
