Obituary of Lois Rutherford

Lois Rutherford, beloved wife of Paul of Calgary, passed away on Saturday July 15, 2006, at the age of 79 years. Lois was born in Calgary on November 4, 1926. After marrying Paul in 1950, they and their children had the opportunity to travel and live all over Canada with Paul serving in the army with P.P.C.L.I. While working Lois had endless energy for her children and also devoted her time to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, singing in the choir and acting on many social committees, as well as working with the Girl Guides of Canada. Lois will always be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-five years, Paul, her children Tim and Lynne Rutherford and Heather and Alex Kowalenko; her grandchildren Krystle, Tyler, Crystal, Adam, Jennifer, Chelsey, Darien and Bree; as well as her eight great grandchildren. Lois was predeceased by her sister and brother. A celebration of Lois’ life will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church (1802 – 33 Avenue S.W.), on Wednesday July 19, 2006, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev.
