Obituary of Margaret Ann Wallace

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marg Wallace, beloved wife of Merv Wallace of Calgary, on Friday, July 14, 2006 at the age of 72 years, after a lengthy but determined journey with cancer. Marg was born in Consort, AB on November 22, 1933 to Andrew and Margaret Dalgleish, and was raised in Drumheller, AB. She graduated from the Holy Cross Hospital School for Nursing in 1954. Caring for others was her passion and she continued to comfort patients for forty years. Besides her caring and adoring husband of fifty-two years Merv, Marg is survived by her loving daughter Laurie; and her three loving sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Wendy, Doug and Nellie, and Bob and Laree. She is also survived by her sister Mary Dalgleish; sister-in-law Betty Lauriente (Wallace); as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Calgary and B.C. Marg’s grandchildren were the “apples of her eyes” and many happy times were spent with them.
