Obituary of Veronica Chisholm

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Veronica Lulu Chisholm (nee Hart) on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the age of 82 years. Born in Ferrans Point, Osnabruck Township, Ontario, on August 21, 1923, Verna moved to Toronto and finally to Calgary to be with her daughter and family. Verna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Michael Barbero, and her most precious grandsons Michael and Andrew. She is survived by one sister, Norma Baker of Ottawa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews across the country. Verna also leaves behind a very special friend, Irene Barbero. Verna was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Lulu Hart, her husband Charles, and her siblings,Vincent, Mary, Dougald, Bessie, Frances and Bernie. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev.
