Obituary of Irmgard Poley

Irmgard (Ingrid) Poley was called home to our heavenly father on July 10, 2006, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Through her amiable and loving manner she touched the lives of many people around her, bringing joy and warmth to those she met. Ingrid will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of forty-nine years, Egon; as well as her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Holly; daughter Carmen; and her grandchildren, Melissa, Eric and Adam, all of Calgary. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters Gerda (Eddy) Theveshen, and Greta Dell; brother Bernhard (Kathy) Ropertz of Germany; and sisters-in-law Renate Ramsburg and Gudrun Louise Lindlay of Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday July 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
