Ralph was born on January 12, 1925 in Windthorst, Saskatchewan and spent his early years on the prairies. After serving with the Canadian Air Force in the 1940’s, he lived in Vancouver and Calgary, working in the farm implement industry. A fifty-five year Mason and an Elks member for thirty-five years, Ralph’s favourite past times and interests included curling, cards and aircraft. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love and pride for his family, his innate mechanical skill and his great love for nature. The echoes of Dad’s willow whistles, made with his pocket-knife, will be with us always. The Stewart family thanks Dad’s home care nurses Hatti, Janice, Linda and Lynn and physician Dr. Perry Glimpel for their assistance to Mom in caring for Dad over the last four years.
