Obituary of Karen Kromm

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Karen Kromm, formerly of Prince Edward Island. Karen passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at the age of 49 years, doing what she loved best, camping at Pine Lake. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Murray, her children David (Stacey) and Kimberly, her sister Pat, grandmother Marjorie and her pride and joy, granddaughter Mackenzie. Karen was predeceased by her mother Eleanor on June 10, 2006 and her grandfather Cyril. She left this world cherished by a large, loving extended family and the wonderful friends who will never forget her. We would like to sincerely thank everyone at the Green Acres campground and the staff at the Red Deer Health Region who assisted Karen and her family. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Airdrie Chapel (300 Towerlane Drive) on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Town and Country Centre (275 Jensen Dr. N.E. Airdrie, AB.) on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Chase, Presider. Graveside Service to follow at the Airdrie Cemetery. Due to health issues in the family, scents and perfumes are discouraged.
