Obituary of Harry Edward Leigh

Harry Leigh, beloved husband of Barb of Acme, passed away on July 1, 2006 at the age of 65 years. Harry was born in Calgary, and for a short time lived in BC. When he was 18, he joined the Army as a medic and was stationed all over Canada. Harry also served two six-month tours in Cypress and one six month tour in Egypt. He retired in 1991 after 32 years of service to his country. Harry retired to Acme AB, where he enjoyed woodworking, working out in the yard and garden. He had a special love for fishing and became an avid fly-fisherman. Harry will be sadly missed by Barb, his wife of 38 years; sons Mike (Kathy), Ralph (Christa), and Lawrence; daughter Veronica (Pierre); grandchildren Trina, Mike, Rob, Kevin, Alyssa, and Teale; and one great grandchild Nadine. He will also be remembered by his brother Frank (Linda) and sister Pat. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
