Obituary of John Jack Keith

John (Jack) McWalter Keith of Calgary, passed away on July 4, 2006, at 12:20 a.m. at the age of 97 years. John McWalter Keith was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on October 17, 1908. He was in the oil and gas industry for forty-nine years with Royalite Oil, B.A. Oil and Gulf Oil in Turner Valley, Alberta, Coleville, Saskatchewan, and Calgary, Alberta. Jack was a charter member of the Turner Valley Golf Club and a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Okotoks. Dad, your never-ending love, patience and gentle guidance were the strength of our family. You will always hold a very special place in our hearts. You were such a kind soul whom everyone loved, and you were our rock of strength. Your relentless devotion and love for us all will stay in our hearts forever and we will always cherish the beautiful memories you gave us. Thank you Dad. Jack is survived by his six children, Ben (Gail), Jane (Dave), Bob (Doreen), Don (Norma), Frances and George; his eleven grandchildren, Tyler, Marni, Kelly, Andrian, Shelly, Sheryl, Heather, Lindsay, Graham, Geoffrey, and Trinity; and his twelve great-grandchildren. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his wife Alice in 1994; two grandsons, Bradley Fair and Robin Keith; his brother Wilson; and his sisters Lois, Anna and Betty.
