Obituary of Robert John Hunter

Robert died at home on June 28, 2006 after a long and bravely fought illness. Born on February 9, 1946 in North Battleford SK, he spent his formative years in England before returning to Canada in 1973. He was a loving and much loved husband to his wife Janet; proud father of daughter Natasha Kozak (Wade); and son Stephen Hunter (Shannon); and adoring grandfather of Juliet, Harry, Ryan and Teddy Kozak. He leaves his dear sister Carol Hayes; brother-in-law John; father-in-law Leonard Stubbs; and many other relatives all in England. Away from his working life in the financial world, Robert enjoyed music, theatre and good food. He was an enthusiastic and skillful home renovator long before it became fashionable and he loved to travel anywhere, anytime.
