Obituary of Kenneth Earle Britton
Kenneth (Ken) Earle Britton of Calgary passed away suddenly on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the age of 57 years, surrounded by his family.
He had an impressive career, working as a Geologist for Cities Services, CanOxy and Nexen. He was also an accomplished photographer, who was happiest when he was capturing the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
Ken was a loving father, loyal son and a very special friend to many. He was deeply loved and will be missed profoundly. Ken was Dad to daughters Jane Britton (Jonathan) of England and Amy Britton (Colin) of Calgary. He is also survived by brothers Ron Britton (Tammy) and Gerry Britton, his uncle Stan Hodgson, former wife Deirdre Britton, and numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his father Earl Britton and mother Nona Britton (nee Hodgson).
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
