Obituary of Helen Blanche Hannon

Helen Blanche (Murphy) Hannon passed away on June 26, 2006, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She will be sadly missed by her husband Norbert; her children Murph (Charlotte), Connor and Andrea; her grandchildren Brenn, Jarett, Jenna and Kaela; and her sister Doris (Jim); and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her dear cousin Marion Delesalle. Helen was born in Eastend, Saskatchewan, moved later to Gravelbourg, SK and settled in Calgary in 1943. Helen graduated from St. Mary’s High School and later from Washington State University. Helen was a generous, thoughtful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her strength, dignity and grace were apparent throughout her life and particularly with her battle against cancer. The Hannon family wishes to express our most sincere gratitude to those who offered their love and support to Helen.
