Obituary of Kathleen Pludek

Kathleen Pludek of Calgary passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Kathleen was born in Loughborough, England in 1922. She met her late husband Vladimir “Roger” while serving as a Wren during WWII. She followed Roger to Czechoslovakia, back to England, then to Montreal and finally to Calgary, all while raising her family. Kathleen now follows Roger again. Kathleen will be missed by her daughter and sons, Clare, Andrew (Chris), Michael (Trisha, Richard and her grandchildren, Felicity (Jeremy) and Kit, and Daniel and Alix. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice.
