Obituary of Doreen Joo

Doreen Margaret Jo_, beloved wife of Andrew Jo_ of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 59 years after a seven month battle with cancer. She met her death peacefully, with remarkable hope and strength of spirit. Doreen was a vibrant and engaging person. She always made people feel valued. She gave the best she could to the welfare of others. She was an inspiration. She contributed much to those who knew and loved her. Doreen will be sadly missed by Andrew, her loving husband of thirty-five years; her mother, Eileen Blyth; her children Rachel (Christiaan) Baas and Stephen (Colleen) Jo_; her grandchildren Blyth Oswald and William Jo_; her sister Ann (Lawrence) Steele; her brother David (Audrey) Blyth; and their families. She also leaves to mourn, her parents-in-law Elizabeth and Dr. GÚza L. Jo_; her sister-in-law Charlotte (Raymond) Kenney; her brother-in-law Peter (Patricia) Jo_; and their families.
