Obituary of Morris Faltus

Morris Faltus, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Helen Faltus of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Morris was born on March 11, 1927 in Pardubice, in the Czech Republic. He later immigrated to Canada in 1948 where he married Mary Helen on July 7, 1951 in Calgary. At age 60, Morris followed his dream and became a proud member of the Alberta Gold Prospectors Association. He and Mary Helen spent many happy days panning for gold with friends in B.C. Besides his loving wife Mary Helen, Morris is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Betty Faltus, of Calgary, Rick and Eileen Faltus of Sherwood Park, and Jerry and Angie Faltus of Millarville; his five grandchildren, Douglas, Andrew, Samantha, Katherine and Robert; and by his two great grandchildren, Cameron and Amanda. In the Czech Republic, he is survived by two nieces and a nephew. He is also survived by his friend and gold panning buddy John Senycz of Calgary; as well as many other close friends. Morris was predeceased by his grandson Ricky Faltus Jr.; and by his three brothers. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
