Obituary of Wade Richard Schmidt

Wade Richard Schmidt beloved husband of Danielle Miller of Calgary, passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic motorbike accident on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the age of 31 years. Wade was born and raised in Regina, SK and graduated from Johnson Collegiate in 1993. He began his computer career with I.S.M. and moved to Calgary in 1997, where he continued his career in IT. Wade was currently employed with Veer Corporation. In 2002, he married his high school sweetheart Danielle. They enjoyed sharing their lives together in their new home with their cats, Leo and Fezz. Wade loved exploring locally through the mountains, across Canada and travelling internationally. Everything he did was to the extreme and with a great amount of passion. Wade loved woodworking, downhill mountain biking, skiing, camping and motor biking. He will be missed by all. Besides his loving wife, Wade is survived by his mom Celine Giroux (John Kearney) and dad Richard Schmidt (Karen Arnason); grandmother Annette Giroux; mother and father-in-law Gloria Miller and Gary Miller; two sisters, Lisa (Bob) Frei and Tracey (Glenn) Agnew; brother Brent Schmidt; brother-in-law Jeff (Juanita) Miller; three nephews, Taylor, Tristan and Brendon; three nieces, Jadyn, Reise and Mischa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles cousins , other relatives and friends. Wade was predeceased by his grandparents Gerard Giroux, John and Dorothy Schmidt and his uncle Garry Schmidt.
