Obituary of Rachel Marie Sim

It is with great sadness that the family of Rachel Sim announce her passing on Sunday, June 18, 2006, at the Rockyview General Hospital. Rachel was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, on August 20, 1925. She married George Sim in 1946 and moved to Drumheller and then to Calgary. Rachel worked for Pan Canadian Petroleum for many years. A special thank you to Dawn Sim for all her kindness to Mom over the years. Mom, you will be greatly missed, but we all know you will be happy with Dad. Rachel is survived by son Ben (Linda) Sim; daughter Sandra Peters; and son Rod (Efen) of Hawaii; sisters Georgette, Emily and Zoe; and brothers Harry and Victor. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Doug, Lori, Daniele, Morgan and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Mathew and Calista.
