Obituary of Lawrence Donald Dielissen

Lawrence (Larry) Donald Dielissen of Calgary passed away on Monday, June 12, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Larry was born in Calgary, AB where he worked for the City of Calgary for over thirty-five years and at the time of his retirement he was Manager of the Claims Division. Larry was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. He always enjoyed people and was passionate about his time spent with family, friends and neighbours in Calgary and at his cabin in Birch Bay. Larry was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 1996. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce Dielissen and Linda Tomljanovic and the Rev. Robert Dielissen; two daughters Bev Keam and Cheryl Dielissen, all of Calgary; four grandchildren, Ashley and Jeffery Emms, Christopher and Daniel Dielissen; one brother and sister-in-law Bernard and Norma Dielissen, of Vancouver, BC and one sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Jack Flood of Stavely, AB. Larry is also survived by Florence’s family, Jim and Brenda Hagel and their daughter Patricia, all of Calgary; Sister Geraldine Hagel S.C.S.L., of Montreal, QC, Mary Hagel and her family, JoAnne and Don Molyneaux, all of Calgary, and Michael and Tara Hagel, of Devon AB. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Concelebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
