Obituary of Leah Kedge

It is with deep sadness and love we announce the passing of Leah Kedge on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at the age of 87, following a brief illness. Leah is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia Oswin, Carol Hamblin, Gayle Draper, Deborah and Wayne Ellert, and a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Kathleen Kedge; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Gilbert Arbour, Don Arbour and Jack and Marion Arbour. Leah will be sadly missed by her twelve grandchildren, in addition to her numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Leah was predeceased by her husband James (Jim) Kedge in 1989 and her daughter, Marilyn Finkle in 1990 and son-in-law Dennis Oswin in 2006. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, June 14 2006 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke?s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Thursday, June15, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff of the Newport Harbour Care Centre where Leah resided for the past fourteen months. We thank you for making it a loving home.
