Obituary of Gail Jones

Gail Jones of Calgary passed away peacefully on May 31, 2006 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born in Bebington, England. She immigrated to Canada in 1969 with her husband and two children. Gail is survived by Tony, her loving husband of 45 years; her daughter Gaynor; son David; grandchildren Bryce, Rhys, Oceana, and Jazzmyn; and son-in-law John. A memorial service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Gail’s memory is welcome to attend a service to celebrate her life. Gail’s family wishes to thank the staff of Home Care, the Peter Lougheed Centre (Palliative Care Unit), and the wonderful people at Carewest Sarcee Hospice for their care and loving devotion in making Gail’s last days peaceful and dignified.
