Obituary of Aldina Crowchild

Aldina Crowchild, beloved wife of Patrick Crowchild of Tsuu T’ina Nation, has been called home by our Creator on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at the age of 44 years. Besides her loving husband Patrick, Aldina is survived by her children, Michelle, Justin (Chantel), Crystal (Sonny), Isaac (Kayla), Allan, Aldin, Patrick and Kimberly; grandchildren, Torren, Jade, Riel, Ashanti, Nevaeh, and Kayzlin; siblings, Bernice (Ed), Julia, Esther, Ronald (Linda), Elsie, Clifton (Debbie), Marie (Raleigh), Betty (Ron), Wilda, Romeo, Elliott (Deliah), and Rex (Marlene); adopted siblings, Allen, Mary S.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alec (Helen), Charles, Neil (Patricia), Elliott (Priscilla), and Frances (Helmut); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved sons, Patrick Kerry and Kerry Aldin; her parents, Philip and Jean Backfat; father and mother-in-law, Isaac and Edith Crowchild; siblings, Homer, Katie, Phyllis and Philip Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen, Emerson, Bradley, Peggy, Irene, Jacqueline and Rita. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Julia Backfat (Siksika Nation, AB) on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 6:00 p.m., as well as the residence of Patrick Crowchild (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Barnabas’ Anglican Church (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) on Friday, June 9, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev.
