Obituary of Adriaan Bezemer

Adriaan Bezemer, beloved husband of Netty Bezemer, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, in Calgary on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his youngest son Marcel. Ad was born in Arnhem, Netherlands on February 28, 1921, the youngest of four children. He was a dedicated consultant in the Building Product Industry in the Netherlands for over thirty years. Ad will be remembered as a quiet, loving man who always put his family first. He loved to vacation on the warm beaches in many parts of the world. Other favourites included listening to his music, dancing, creating the perfect garden, biking, swimming, building his model railroad, and a love for cars, especially his Cadillac. He loved nothing more than planning road trips – be it in Europe or Canada – the mountains he so loved. Ever since the early 1950’s, Ad had a love for Canada and finally immigrated to Canada with his wife Netty in 1996. Besides his loving wife Netty, Ad leaves behind his beloved son Robert (Winnie) and grandson Jamie. A Private Family Service was held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
