Obituary of Daniel Henry Petiot
Daniel Henry Petiot, beloved husband of Rose, passed away peacefully at Calgary’s Rockyview General Hospital on Thursday, June 1st 2006.
Dan was born on June 29, 1930 in Claresholm Alberta. He was raised in the Alberta foothills of Longview by his parents Henry and Gene. Dan graduated in 1954 from the Montana School of Mines with his degree in Petroleum Engineering. He went on to have a rewarding, thirty-six year, career in the Alberta oil industry where he made many wonderful, life-long friends.
Besides his loving wife, Dan is survived by Scott and Linda, Mark, David and Sandra, as well as his four adoring grandchildren, Russell, James, Rose and Lillian. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Rocky View Hospital’s Unit 72 for their care and compassion.
