Obituary of Hazell Brockelsby

Hazell Brockelsby of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 after a two year battle with cancer, at the age of 86 years young. Hazell was born in Moosomin, SK to John and Florrie Sharp. Hazell (known to her friends as Smutty from an early age) is survived by her twin sister Phyllis (known as Rusty) and her second husband Leslie Brockelsby, whom she married in 2004. She is also remembered by her son Terry Livermore; her son-in-law Jim Thomson; and her grandchildren, Jenna Thomson, Amy Livermore and Jeffrey Livermore. Hazell was predeceased by her first husband Raymond Livermore; her daughter Leslie Ann Thomson; and her brother Frederick Ralph Sharp. Hazell will be missed by her many bridge and golf friends as well as anyone else who had the good fortune to have known her. She had an affinity for life and cherished her many friends and family members, as well as her cat Suzy. There will be a private service held for close friends and family on Friday, June 2, 2006.
