Obituary of Pietro Gagliardi

Pietro Gagliardi, beloved husband, father, nonno and the rock of our family, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 22, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Pietro was born on May 19, 1932 in Longobucco, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1969. Pietro is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Vittoria; children, Dominic (Maria), Francesco (Rosa Maria), Joe (Rosalba), Claudio (Carla), and Maria (Vincent); and his precious grandchildren, Peter, Anthony, Isabella, Alexandra, Julianna, Gabriella, Matteo, Amelia and Maia. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Antonio, Franco, Padre Mario, Ada, Caterina, and Francesca; numerous friends and relatives in both Italy and Canada. Pietro was predeceased by his sister Teresa. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m with the Rev.
