Obituary of Yuk Wong

Yuk Heung Wong of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Yuk was born in China and immigrated to Canada thirty years ago. She was a member of the Chinese Senior’s Association and the Indo-Chinese Buddhist Temple. Yuk will be remembered by six sons and daughters-in-law, Lungchak and Shukling Wong of Edmonton, Philip and Amy Wong of Vancouver, Albert and Winnie Wong of Calgary, Sunny and Tammy Wong of Calgary, Sam and Muisee Wong of China, William and Henrietta Wong of Calgary; daughter Pingwah Wong of Calgary; and ten grandchildren, Kenny and wife Randi, Lukming, Thomas, Louis, Michael, Joshua, Freda, Yuenching, Elsa and Melanie. Yuk was predeceased by her husband Yung Wong in 1964. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday, May 22, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
