Obituary of Edith Colville

A Mother holds her children’s hands for a while, their hearts forever. On Sunday May 14, 2006, Edith Colville (nee Royds), beloved wife of the late Matthew ‘Mac’ Colville, passed away at the Carewest Sarcee Hospice at the age of 83. Edith left her loving imprint on the hearts of her children, Patricia (Lee) Brown and Doug Colville; grandchildren, Shaun (Wendy) Brown, Nicole (Mike) Coppa, Cullen and Keaton Colville; as well as her great-grandchild Zoe Coppa, and numerous treasured nieces and nephews. Edith will also be remembered by her sisters-in-law, Peg Linton, Bertha Colville, Marj Royds and Barbara Clarke along with brother-in-law John Colville. A Graveside Service will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens on Friday May 19, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. A light reception will follow at the home of her son Doug. “As we love you, so we miss you.
