Obituary of Gregory Bryan McKinnon

Greg McKinnon, beloved husband of Sherri McKinnon of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the age of 39 years. Greg was born on April 4, 1967 in Calgary to Mac and Marianne. He was a man of tremendous character whose loyalties lay deep with family and friends. Greg had a great sense of adventure and enjoyed golfing, travelling and spending quality time with family at Koocanusa. “Toes in the sand; beer in the hand.” Besides his loving wife, Greg is survived by a daughter Sarah; two step-children, Kißra and Brendan; his mother Marianne; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Scott Childs of Red Deer, AB and Heather McKinnon and Scott Wright of Calgary; two nieces, Alexandra and Danielle; and three nephews, Clarke, Koltan and Luc. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Rick and Rita of Lethbridge, AB. Greg was predeceased by his father Francis (Mac) in 2001. Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (17th Avenue S.E. and Garden Road) on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
