Obituary of Alexander Penner

Alexander Penner, beloved husband of Mary Penner, of Calgary, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2006 at the age of 82years. Alex served for thirty years with the Calgary Police Service and had previously served with the OPP. He was also a veteran of WWII, serving in the RCAF. Alex took great pride in his family and in his profession, and thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing and travel. Besides his loving wife Mary (nee Grant) of twenty-two years, Alex is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Alexander and Arlene Penner; two grandchildren Drew Penner and Andrea (Shawn) Kelly and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved first wife of thirty-eight years, Mary Klein.
