Obituary of Allan Robertson

Allan Robertson beloved husband of Marjorie Robertson of Calgary passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on May 5, 2006 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Allan was born on March 6, 1954 in Drumheller, AB. He had a passion for genealogy and anything to do with his family. He loved to play golf with his friends from the University of Calgary, as well as hockey with the guards from The Drumheller Penitentiary and was a 110 percent Oiler fan. Allan faced his cancer without complaint, showing great courage and humour, leaving his family and friends with a legacy of love and laughter. Besides his loving wife Marjorie he is survived by his three children Brandy (James), Lee (Joe) and Jason; twelve grandchildren “and counting”; brothers William and Daniel; a sister Catherine (Nigel) and numerous relatives. Allan was predeceased by his parents Gordon Allan and Mary Walker (nee Gray). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
