Obituary of Bruce Edwin Brown

On Wednesday, May 3, 2006, Bruce Edwin Brown, P.Eng, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Bruce was born in Daysland, AB, and served as an Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force. After graduation from the University of British Columbia, Bruce and Leslie moved to Alberta where he had a long career with Armco-National Supply and became a life member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta. In addition to travel and golf, after retirement, Bruce enjoyed the fellowship of the Calgary Oilfield Technical Society, and the Aircrew Association. Bruce is survived by his wife, Leslie; children, Shauna (Alan), Scott (Janette), Vanessa and Holly; his niece, Ann Chambers; and his grandchildren, Fraser, Valerie and Calder. He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Annetta Brown, brother Robert, and sister Muriel.
