Obituary of Violet Marie O’Connor

Violet Marie O’Connor (nee McMeekin) of Calgary, formerly of Verdun, QC, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the age of 77 years. Violet loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Steve and Wendy of Okotoks; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Alan Spencer of Calgary and Susie and Scott Steele of Toronto, ON; and five grandchildren, Amanda, Joey, Stephen, Katie, and Cassidy. She is also survived by her three brothers and a sister-in-law, Al and Grace of California, Grant and Don; and a sister and brother-in-law Irene and Ed Mulcahy. She was predeceased by her husband John (Bud); and brother Stan.
