Obituary of Pacific L. Paron

It is with great sadness and sorrow the family of Pacific (Blackie) L. Paron, announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather on Monday, May 1, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Pacific was a road construction superintendent for most of his working life, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. He worked for Standard Gravel, New West Construction and retired from the MD of Rockyview, in 1984. Pacific enjoyed his retirement visiting with friends and family. He was known for his kindness, generosity and caring ways. Pacific was always ready to play a game of crib with anyone. Pacific is survived by his loving wife Edith; three sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Nilo, Larry and Lynne, and Jeffrey and Jolana; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters Ella and Rena; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Maria Paron; his sisters Hilda, Velma, Emma; and brothers Armando, Angelo, Raymond, William and Ernest. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
