Obituary of Phillip Stark

Phillip Stark, beloved husband of the late Florence Stark, formerly of Coniston, ON, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Phil was a devoted and loving husband. He loved Florence and his family dearly. Phil had a very keen mind that served him well in his long career in sales leadership, and as the “go-to guy” when anyone in the family was up against a real challenge. Phil was very social with both a quick wit and a welcoming smile. He was active in the Royal Canadian Legion having served as President for several years. He enjoyed the Coniston Senior’s Dart League and was always up for a competitive game of cards. His integrity, resilience and utter determination were admired by many, yet it was his love for Florence that was admired by all who knew him. Phil is remembered by his sons and daughters-in-law, Darryl and Michelle Stark of Calgary, Wayne and Susanne Stark of Toronto, ON, Kyle and Gail Stark of Deroche, BC; his daughter Janet Robbins of Picton, ON; nine grandchildren, Kris, Rob, Shane, Merissa, Lauren, Libby, Maria, Dawn, and Phillip; and two sisters, Eve Laing and Doreen Sheahan. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church (2603 Falconbridge Highway, Garson, ON) on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Wilkins, Presider.
