Obituary of Carol M. Kozak

Carol M. Kozak, beloved wife of Leo, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2006 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 66 years. Carol was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Ghana in 1962 to work as a diplomatic secretary to the Australian High Commissioner. There she met and married Leo, the love of her life. Their oldest son, Wayne was born there. Carol and Leo moved back to Canada and after their youngest son, Lance was born, they moved to Gilliam, MB where they spent nearly ten years before moving to Peace River, AB where Carol worked for the Northern Alberta Development Council for sixteen years. In 1997 Carol and Leo retired to Calgary where they spent many very happy times travelling in their motor home, golfing and spending time with friends. Carol leaves to mourn her passing her husband Leo; two sons and a daughter-in-law Wayne and Lance and Rosanne; two grandchildren Joshua and Kathleen; her sister and brother-in-law Gay and Ian Beeson of Australia and numerous friends and neighbours. Carol was predeceased by her parents Phyllis and Lawrence Knyvett.
