Obituary of Helen Elsie Blythe

Helen Elsie Blythe (nee Bushfield) of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Helen was born on January 9, 1916 in Balzac, AB. She attained her degrees in music from the Toronto Conservatory of Music in 1935, subsequently piano became her lifelong enjoyment and career. Helen is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Benton and Lynda, of Delaware, USA, and Trevor of Toronto, ON; one daughter and son-in-law Laurel and Robert Caddel of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren Paul (Nishanthi) Caddel , Jeffrey Caddel, and Christine Caddel, all of Calgary, and Jason and Melanie Blythe, of south Africa. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Christina and Alyssa Caddel of Calgary. Helen was predeceased by her son Darcy in 1986; her brother Roy Bushfield; and sisters Lillian Kinsella and Mable Jones. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
