Marta de los Reyes, born on July 30, 1926, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital at the age of 79 years. Marta was born in Manila, Philippines, and arrived in Calgary in 1980, residing here ever since. Marta will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She has touched many lives with her warm smile and kindness. Marta will be forever remembered by her children Milagros (Jessie), Emma (Jun), Melinda (Eddie), Reynaldo (Delilah), Rolando (Merle), Marlene (Sean), Robert (Raquel), Mercedes (Bernie), Ronnie (Estrella), and Roy (Theresa); as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marta is also survived by her sisters Teresita (Rudolfo), Linda; and her brother Ben. She is predeceased by her husband Rustico, one brother and one sister. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Thursday, March 23, 2006 and Friday, March 24, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
