Obituary of Axel Joseph Goplen

Axel Goplen passed away on Monday, March 20, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Axel taught school; at Crescent Heights High School from 1960 until his retirement. He will be forever remembered by his son and daughter-in-law Bob and Lianne; his daughter and son-in-law Arlene and Al Hobbs; his grandchildren, Tim (Jill), Bobbi (Pete), Kirsten, Matt and Tom; his great-grandchildren, Signe and Sven; as well as his sisters, Elsie, Ada, Min (Ibbs), and Jennie (Harvey). Axel was predeceased by his wife Alice; brother Bernard; and sisters, Betty and Martha. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
