Obituary of Walter Baxter

Wally Baxter, beloved husband of thirty-four years of Mary, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2006, at the age of 72 years. Wally was employed by Nortel for forty-two years. He retired in Montreal in 1991, and headed west with Mary in 1992, where he joined the Stampede City Chorus for eleven years, and Western Reunion for eight years, where he met many new friends. Wally will be remembered by his beloved chosen children, Laureen DiTerlizzi, James Howden (Jill), Brenda Ashmore (Jimmy); seven grandchildren, Melissa and Michael of Florida, Caitlin and Kiel of Montreal, Justin, Bryan and Jordon, and brother in law Roy Hunter, all of Calgary; and many relatives and friends in Montreal. He was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Hunter.
