Obituary of Doreen Gallivan

Doreen Gallivan of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease, on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Doreen was born on May 21, 1927 in Edmonton, AB. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Dan and Trudy Slattery and their children, Kaitlyn and Patrick, all of Calgary; grandchildren, Danielle Scott and her fiancÚ Jason Medwid of Calgary and Mike Scott of Anchorage, AK; as well as the Gallivan family, Chris and Kent, Terry, Don and Diane, Paul and Sue, Connie and Dan; and numerous grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Jack and Gloria McLean; and sister Betty and Gordon Thomson and their families, all of Edmonton, AB. She was predeceased by her first husband Joe Slattery; daughter Carol Scott; and second husband Jack Gallivan.
