Obituary of Florence Perry

Florence Millar Perry of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at the age of 91 years. Florence was born on December 23, 1914 in Saskatoon, SK. and resided for most of her life in Edmonton, AB. In 1959, Florence and Cy moved with their family to Calgary. Upon retiring, Florence and Cy moved to Lantzville, B.C and later to Victoria, B.C. While in Victoria, Florence volunteered countless hours in the Thrift Shop at Oak Bay United Church, making many lasting friendships To be closer to her family, Florence moved back to Calgary in March of 1998. Florence will be greatly missed by her children, Pamela Stevenson, Lee and Gary Kirkpatrick, John and Barb Perry, Robert and Barbara Perry, all of Calgary; grandchildren Cliff (Tasha) of Calgary, Blaine (Rebekah) of Los Angeles, CA., Ian, Chelsea (Mike) Bowie, Jeff (fiancÚe Erin), Christine (fiancÚ Glen), Jennifer (fiancÚ Maurizio), and Lindsay, all of Calgary; great-grandson Ethan Bowie; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Florence was predeceased by her husband Cy and her brother Bill. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Marty Tuer officiating.
