Obituary of John F. Rowland

John F. Rowland passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. John was born in Durham, ON, raised in Elmira, ON, and educated at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON. He was a long-time employee of CANMET in Ottawa, ON, and he and his wife relocated to Cochrane, AB in 1992. John will be greatly missed by his loving wife Peg; his daughter Megan (Frank) Chapman; sons John and Grant (Sue); grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren and Brandon; his sister Catherine (Bob) Elliott; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Olive Rowland; and his brother David.
