Edwin Kubke

Obituary of Edwin Kubke

God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put his arms around you And He whispered, “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. And though we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest, And although our hearts were broken We know God knows best. Edwin was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was a gifted carpenter, took pride in quality craftsmanship and was employed in Calgary’s construction industry. He was a faithful Christian and enjoyed his family, music, the outdoors and serving in the church.
