Obituary of Evelyn Irene Kennedy

Evelyn Kennedy of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the age of 84 years, after a short illness. Evelyn was a longtime employee of Scotiabank, but is best known for her boundless generosity and enduring contributions to Foster Parents Plan, the Soroptimists, the Calgary Food Bank, the Back Door, and Knox United Church. Evelyn will be remembered by her family and many friends for her great zest for life, her infectious laugh, her kindness to others, and her love of travel, music and good times. Evelyn is survived by her dear sister Eileen Wheaton of Saskatoon, SK; nieces Kathryn Barnwell of Nanaimo, BC and Nancy Bjerring, her husband Andrew, and daughter Kate, all of London, ON; and many friends.
