Our beautiful sweet Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma passed away peacefully and with great dignity on Monday, March 6, 2006 in Kelowna, BC. Mom was an amazing woman with a gentle spirit who made friends wherever she went. She made it easy to love her and it was a privilege to know her. The world is a much sadder place without Mom in it. She will be in our hearts forever. Mom is survived by her five adoring children and their families: Sandy; Pat and Marv; Larry, Paul, Jodie and Isaac, Adam and Jacob, Mike, Austin and Josh; Linda, Bill, Ryan and Erin; Barb, Doug, Brianne and Daniel. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved older sister Ina Smith, her extended family and her many friends. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence Edward in 1997; her parents; her sister Anne; and her brothers, Jim, George, Ian, and Murdo.
