Obituary of Elizabeth Brown

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother, Betty of Eastport, Newfoundland on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the Peter Lougheed Center. She was adored and will be greatly missed by her loving family, her children Edward (Minnie) of Nfld, Dennis (Nellie), Mary (Leslie), Terry, and Joanne (Greg) all of Calgary; her grandchildren, Melissa (Peter) King, Gavin all of Nfld, Dianna (Chris) Gallant, Crystal all of Calgary, Jeremy of Nfld, Bradley and Chelsea of Calgary; her great grandchildren Dylan and Desirea; her sisters Bertha (Alf) Gillis, Julia Belmer and brother Patrick (Celine) Hammond,; her brother-in-law Frank (Ivy) Brown, sisters-in-law, Olive (Gerald ) Babstock and Lurley Brown. Betty was predeceased by her husband John, January of 2000. Betty leaves behind a large circle of close friends. Anyone who met her instantly fell in love with her adoring personality and open heart. She will always be remembered for her caring nature, her great sense of humour and most of all her faithfulness to family, friends and God. She was truly our Angel on Earth. We will miss you “Mom”, “Nan”, “Big Nan”. Funeral Services will be held in her home town of Eastport, Newfoundland on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Squires Funeral Home (709) 677-2004.
