Obituary of David P. Hart

David P. Hart, beloved husband of Margaret of Calgary, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2006 at the age of 93 years. Dave was born on August 11, 1912 in Ayr, Scotland. An avid sports fan, he could often be found camping, curling or participating in a game of golf. World events were both important and interesting to him – he made an effort to always be educated in the most recent affairs. In 1976, he retired from the Canadian Superior Oil Company. His involvement in the Grace Presbyterian Church led him to become an Elder in 1946. Besides his loving wife of sixty-three years Margaret, Dave is survived by his daughter-in-law Lynwen Hart of Calgary; and two grandchildren, Beverly (Lee Sinclair) and David. He was predeceased by his daughter Betty and son Robert. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held in David’s honour. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
