Obituary of Harold Vernon Gilchrist

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Harold Vernon Gilchrist on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at the age of 69 years. Harold was born and raised in Rosetown, SK, and lived in Calgary since 1969. Harold is survived by his beloved wife of forty-one years, Emily; daughters and sons in law, Pam, Cathy and Tom McCabe, Holly and Bohdan Kolomijchuk; and grandchildren, Tyler, Chelsea, and Aidan. He also leaves behind his brother Joe; sister and brother in law Vera and Dave Kay; and sister Mae. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his parents George and Jennie; sister Janet; and brother George. A Celebration of Harold’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Borden, Presider.
