Obituary of Glen Wilfred Sartison

Glen Sartison, beloved husband of Barbara Sartison of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the age of 64 years. In his youth, Glen was very athletic particularly in basketball, baseball, curling and bowling. Glen was a very respected member of the lumber and construction industries until his passing. He spent much of his time providing constant guidance and support to family and business associates whether solicited or not! Glen has left many of us with unforgettable memories. He is remembered by his wife of forty-one years Barb; son Chad (Adele); daughter Janelle; and granddaughter Madyson who was the apple of “PaPa’s” eye. He is also survived by his mother May Sartison; brothers, Garry (Fran) and Grant; sister- in-law Donna (Larry) Mazur; and mother-in-law Pauline Erickson in Hanna, AB. He was predeceased by his father Jake Sartison in 1991. A Memorial Service in celebration of Glen’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Talmor Sartison, Glen’s first cousin Presider.
