Obituary of John Retzlaff

John Retzlaff, beloved husband of Marion of Calgary, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Friday, February 24, 2006 at the age of 77 years. John’s laughter will always remain in our memory, as will his generous ways and his love of family. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to a successful business career in both Calgary and Edmonton. John is survived and forever remembered by his beloved wife Marion of fifty-six years; his children Daryl (Shirley), Margo (Garth), Leslie (Gary), Judy (Lane), Kevin (Val), Brian (Bev); ten Grandchildren; one great grandchild; his brother Vic; and his five sisters; Margaret, Mary, Eva, Kay, and Olga. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at the Bonavista Evangelical Missionary Church (1509 Lake Ontario Drive S.E.) on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
